October 1. Here's where I stayed last night. The Hotel Regence in Arles is simple and very clean. I got a single room with shower for under 200F (160F I think). Sylvie, the owner, was very friendly and helpful.

Roman Arena (Amphithéâtre). This arena and other locations in Arles can also be seen in the movie Ronan

Hotel Nord Pinus looks onto the lively Place du Form which was once an actual Roman Form. Notice the hotel has been built around the ruins.

Classical Theater (Théâtre Antique) is the ruins of a Roman Theater. New seats and a large wooden stage have been added recently and the site is still used for concerts and festivals.
